Johanna Stein spielt Cello und singt.
Mit ihrem Soloprogramm entführt sie ihr Publikum in entlegene Paradiese ihrer Musikwelt - von Madrigal bis zu Klängen aus der Mongolei, britischen Pop-Songs, spanischen Kompositionen und keltischen Weisen.
Rasant und wendig führt Johanna Stein ihr Publikum durch Jahrhunderte der Musikgeschichte und nimmt die Zuhörer mit auf ihre berauschende Reise: mal lyrisch und beseelt, mal kess gestrichen oder wild gezupft, kombiniert mit ihrer von Natürlichkeit und Präsenz geprägten Stimme.
Ein Abend voll inniger Töne, atemberaubender Momente und knisternder Stimmung.

Johanna Stein plays cello and sings.
In her solo programme she takes her audience to remote paradises of her musical world - from madrigal to the sounds of Mongolia, modern pop songs, Spanish fire, and Celtic melodies.
Charmingly witty, Johanna Stein guides the audience through centuries of musical history and takes the listeners with her on her exhilarating journey: sometimes lyrical and emotional, sometimes cheekily bowed or wildly plucked, combined with her pure, authentic voice.
A show full of passion, energy, and intense atmosphere.

‘Streicher anders’ Workshop
Im 'Streicher anders' Workshop geht es in erster Linie um den Spaß am gemeinsamen Musizieren.
Hier ziehe ich andere Saiten auf und führe die Teilnehmer anhand von Klassikern aus Rock, Pop, Jazz und Weltmusik (Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Deep Purple, The Beatles, Piazzolla etc.) auf unkonventionelle Pfade.
Ob Anfänger oder Fortgeschritten, in diesem 'Rockester' findet jeder
seinen Platz und erlebt ein Bandgefühl.
Willkommen sind Geigen, Bratschen, Celli, Kontrabässe, Nickelharpa und Drehleiern.

‘Different Strings’ Workshop
The joy of making music together with others plays a central role in this workshop.
I arrange well known rock, pop, jazz and world music pieces for strings (Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Deep Purple, The Beatles, Piazzolla etc.) and lead the participants off the beaten tracks away from conventions.
In this ‘rockester’ everyone will find their place and experience a band feeling, beginners and advanced players alike.
Violins, violas, cellos, double basses, nyckelharpas and hurdy gurdies are all welcome!
